The problem is occurring on another physical server with VMware also, so both instances of VMware (4 and 5) on 2 different physical machines are having this in/out problem transferring between an outside machine, or each other, so its not all the NICS causing this, its somethign in the VMware configuration or lack there-of because both physical machines cant seem to allow a fair transfer rate above a few hundred kbps between virtual machnines housed in the box and an machine/box on the LAN.
everything set to 100 full.
getting 25 Mb/s transfer on virtual machines transferring within teh physical box.
tried 2 different NICS. plus other server having this issue.
other physical machines are xp and 7.
the VMware virtual machines on teh 2 physical boxes are one Windows7 vm and 3 virtual servers- 64bit windows 2008 r2 (obvious correlation?)
ive done everything i know, turned off firewall, ive tried almost every combination of advanced options on the vmxnet3 NIC, etc
any ideas?
