vilogger how do I keep X days worth of logging?

Hey,

I was wondering how I can setup vilogger to keep 7 days worth of logs.  The numrotation seems a little abstract to me.

I'm not sure you can specify "days" ... just --numrotation and --maxfilesize

I'm aware that you can't specifiy days.  I guess my question is what combination of numrotation and maxfilesize should give me 7 days worth of logs?

Depends on what's going on your environment. Issues, errors, etc, depending on those how fast the file size would build up. If I were you and had to keep more history and unsure of the dates, I'd create a cron job to copy the logs to a history folder or something to be safe....

I could be wrong here, but to my knowledge there's no "date stamp" setting/switch.
