ESX 3.5.0 (build 163429) VMWare Tools

We have a clinet running on ESX 3.5.0 (build 163429) Hostss. We will me migrating their VMs to our ESXi 4.1 U1 (Build 348481) Hosts.

I am just verifying that the current VMware Tools version they run will be fine until the next maintenance window (3 months or so). I have run in more out-of-date version scenerios in the past but, I just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone was aware of any issues.

yes, you should be fine.  We have some VI3 guests with older tools than that and they run fine on ESXi 4.1 Hosts

You can use old VMware Tools, but remember to upgrade them BEFORE make a virtual hardware upgrade.
