Crashes after a ESX reinstallation on a SAN Datastore

Hi,

a client has reinstalled an ESXi but choose a Datastore on the SAN to do so...

The Datastore is a multiple extent LUN.

we cannot acces the datastore anymore. The running VMs still works, but if we restart, they are lost..

any ideas?

It's an HP EVA.

Hello.

Note: This discussion was moved from the VMware vCenter Server community to the vSphere Upgrade & Install community.

Good Luck!

i would advise you calling vmware support asap as further wrong action would make all VM unusable. the last time i had this was that a new LUN has to be created and each of the VM needs to be clone until the spanned LUN is empty and recreated.
