I was curious if others are having issues with USB printers when used on a PCOIP terminal, such as:
1) default printer changing on its own or randomly
2) additional "ghost" or duplicate printers appearing, and then they also are "offline"
3) mice randomly stopping
If you have these problems, are you having them with XP or Win 7? Have you found any solutions or workarounds?
Do you have any other USB issues with other types of devices? If so, please elaborate.
We are running the latest Teradici firmware (Samsung terminals w/ builtin monitor) and View 4.6.
Thanks,

The default printer changing is likely due to ThinPrint. You can either configure it and use it, or just remove it from your agent install.
I am not so sure. Virtual printers, such as Acrobat PDF printers, are detected immediately, and then a second or two later, the USB printers are detected via the PCoIP protocol. During this delay, Windows does not see any other printers, so it make the PDF printer the default printer.
Will disabling Thin Print and/or configuring it help with this?
After you have the agent installed, how do you configure or disable Thin Print? I'd like to experiment with this.
Thanks,

It could be something else. To test, you can just disable the following services (or modify the agent install):
- TP AutoConnect Service
- TP VC Gateway Service
