ThinApps Require Desktop Refresh

I am using ThinApp 4.6.1 in conjunction with View 4.6 and the ThinApp integration. The problem I am having is that after I recompose a desktop pool, during the first login for each desktop, the user must either right click the desktop and select 'Refresh' or log off and log back on in order for the icons to show up on the desktop.

Is there any way to make the desktop refresh more often, or possibly another solution to this issue?

I guess the problem is that the application doesn't install until the user logs in so the icons aren't immediately available.   What happens if you stream the applications to the desktop?

They're setup with MSIStreaming=1, and I've tried Streaming (majority) and Full. Unfortunately, both seem to have the issue.

My streaming always seem to show up right away but the full installs take a litle bit of time.   I'll defer to the ThinApp experts for this one.     Good luck and I look forward to hearing everyone's suggesitons.

Are you using View Manager to entitle the ThinApps? If so, you might be more successful in getting an answer asking it in the View community since View entitlement of ThinApps is more a View feature than ThinApp..

Not sure the View experts are monitoring this community..
