hi i have esxi 3.5 with two network card.
First network card which has ip address of 192.168.0.1/24
How do i configure ip address of 192.168.1.1/16 to second network card.
For the first network card i did it from the esxi console.
You don't assign IP addresses to NICs. IP addresses are assigned to VMkernel ports and virtual machines.

Basically the physical NICs are only uplinks from the ESXi host to the physical switch. And like in a physical environment, you wouldn't assign any IP addresses to a switch port!
I would read over the networking section of the configuraiton guide, http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_35/esx_3/r35u2/vi3_35_25_u2_3_server_config.pdf.
