VCB backup of VM distributed on 2 datastores

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible for VCB to backup a VM when it is distributed on 2 datastores, so 2 volumes SAN-based.

We are using Networker and for some reason the VMDK and VMFS backup are not working.  But the IP-based backup of SQL and the system state of that VM works without problem.

Yes is possible.

But if you use SAN mode the VCB proxy must "see" both datastore.

Hi Carrier,

Can you give us a little insight as to how you implemented networker?

We use networker for but agent based backups\restores as well as for VCB and most of our guest use multiple VMFS
