A company I work with has problems running Adobe Captivate in a VMware Player. The VMware Player is version 3.1.1 and it is running on Windows 7 64bit. Captivate is installed in both the VMware Player and on the regular PC.
The problem is with screen capturing. When doing screen capture (of Microsoft Office programs) Captivate automatically switches to Full Motion Recording even though the setting is set to Automatic Recording. It is as if Captivate thinks it needs to switch to FMR. This happens in most cases right away when starting a recording. When doing the same recording in the regular pc window there are no problems, only in the VMware Player.
Does anyone have experience with Adobe Captivate screen capturing in VMware Player and perhaps experienced similar problems?
