      Job Description

      Responsible for pre- and post-sales support of opportunities for iTeam’s unique Service-as-a-Product IT installation services.  Many of the leading technology channels rely on iTeam to provide onsite installation services to their customers throughout North America, and you will be on the front lines of supporting their many sales reps as they seek support in quoting and closing deals.  This position will tap your broad working knowledge of many technical areas such as networking, servers, workstations, VoIP, and audio/video, to name a few.  The ideal candidate will be able to work with account managers and their end customers to efficiently and accurately identify their installation requirements, and use iTeam’s industry leading iPlatform software to provide same-day and next-day quotations and  statements-of-work.  You must also be able to supervise and provide remote assistance to the onsite engineer after the sale has been made and during the installation.  iTeam is a young and rapidly growing company with an unparalleled reputation for excellence among the premier technology channel companies.  You will become an integral part of supporting and expanding this reputation as both a highly collaborative member of our team and as an independent, self-directed performer.  Initially, this is a part-time position which is expected to evolve quickly into a full-time position for the right candidate.

       

      Skills

      • Minimum 7 years experience in technology as a consultant, systems engineer, or equivalent
      • Specific experience in networking, Windows-based servers and workstations, and audio video is a MUST
      • Ability to learn and master new technologies in a fast paced environment
      • Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Juniper, and Sonicwall certification(s) desired
      • History of working on systems remotely is a plus
      • Proven track record in design and implementation of technology solutions
      • Exceptional written, communication, and presentation skills
      • Thrives in a reactive, multi-tasking environment
      • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to completing tasks with precision and excellence
      • Willingness to travel as required (10%-25%)
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • BS degree in computer science or engineering
