Problem NPIV does not create vport on ESXi 4.1

Dear all,

i'm currently installing my new SAN and VMWare servers.

Hardware :

- 6 HP blades bl465c G7 with 2 AMD processors (12-core each) and 196Go of RAM with Qlogic SAN cards

- HP virtual connect flex-10

- brocade SAN switch 5100 with NPIV enabled

Software :

- ESXi 4.1 enterprise plus

My problem :

When i enable NPIV in the virtual machine settings (tab options), it says it's ok. But i can't see my WWN on the SAN switch

When i checked the file /proc/scsi/qla2xxx/4 or 5, it says NPIV enable, but it does not says that there are vPort created.

Also, even in the vmware log on the server (i activated SSH tech support to access the ESXi server), i can't see anything special

So i need you help, does any one knows how to make this NPIV work.

Thanks & regards

Vincent
