Convert RDM's to VMDK

What's the best way to convert Physical RDM's to VMDK.? in the process of upgrading the esx, but would like to convert RDMs to vmdk.

ESX 3.02, vcenter 2.5.

there are a few methods.  You could use VMware Converter, you could power off the VM and do a cold migration to a new LUN, or you could do sVMotion to a new LUN.

...but since you have 3.0.2, you can't use sVMotion

If I upgrade from 3.02 to 3.5, then do I have to make any changes on RDM? or, it will come back fine after the upgrade?

try vmware converter to perform the virtual machine conversion, which allow you to convert RDM to VMDK format as you wish
