Creating VM from template

Hello,

Is it possible to build a VM from a template across datacenter under same vCenter server?

You could copy the template to a datastore in the second datacenter - import it as a VM and convert it to a template.

It would be possible to convert the template to a VM and then clone the VM. Once cloned you could move the VM to the new location and then convert it back to a template. Of course converting the original back to a template as well.

This would give you a template to deploy from in different datacenters.
