Error 24: Attempt to access block outside partition ...

One of my ESX host is getting this error message "Error 24: Attempt to access block outside partition ..." when it was booting up.

How do I fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello.

Prior to the reboot did you make any changes to the system, and if so what?

Good Luck!

Nothing was changed. We set it up, shipped to customer site, pulled out the box, power on the first time and that was the error message show on the screen.

I will guess that this is from the COS VM rather than directly related to the vmkernel. If you do a Google search search for the error you will find plenty of links to fixing the problem.
