Hi,
We are testing VSphere ESXi 4.1 and VSphere Client. This will be joined to a Windows 2003 domain.
My question is: So far,I see only the ability to set 3 permission levels. No Access, Read-Only, and Adminstrator.
Is there a way (with only ESXi and VSphere Client) to make granular permission settings for a server instance when someone logs into hypervisor via the VSphere Client? I would like it if lower tier administrators were only able to do a few things with each server instance, that being start up and shut down. I don't want to give them the capability to do anything destructive, such as delete the server instance of modify the hardware variables.
Thanks for any info here.
