Newbie with Questions...

Hi,

I am planning on running 2 VM's on a HP Desktop Server in order to run both an ISA Server and an Exchange 2007 Server. I have installed ESXi on the HP Desktop and have successfully installed 2 VM's with Windows 2003 Server x86.

I am using V Sphere to administer these machines, but am a little confused as it says 60 days remaining until I have to licence. Could you please let me know what functionality I will loose when the free trial expires ? and also what is provided as part of the free licence for ESXi ?

Welcome to the Forums - When your evaulation expires you will lose te ability to power on a VM and make any administrative changes to your host. The free license, in short, will give you full functionality for a stand alone host allowing you to run multiple VMs with up to 4 virtual CPUs -

I am looking at Installing a Sony AIT 5 Tape drive within my ESXi box. Could you please confirm if that is viable within the ESXi environment ?
