There are a lot of threads regarding this issue, but i would like to give this issue a bump.
In 2009 VMware released a preview of vCenter on Linux. Which is great. It's now 2010 and i haven't heard anything from this project.
VMware makes a lot of use of opensource software but still lacks a management solution which is built upon it.
When can we expect to see a final release of vCenter on Linux and a viClient for linux.
I would agree, it is definitely been an ongoing topic for a few years now.
