OVF files with ESX 3.0

Hi all,

First, sorry if i didn't post this message on the right forum, but i didn't know where to write it.

I've got an ESX 3.0 with important VMs on it. My goal is to migrate these VMs on a vCenter 4.1 with ESX 4.1, so as to upgrade this last ESX with a newer version. The problem is that i can't find on VMware Infrastructure 2.0 how to import to OVF files my VMs. I just can do: File > Export > Export Lists or Export Maps... Is it possible to import to OVF file with these versions of VMware Infrastructure and ESX?

If not, what solution do i have??

Thanks a lot.

Hi Synced,

The easier solution would be to use VMware Converter to move you VM from your old ESX to the new ones.

Good luck!

Regards

Franck
