OVF tool fails to install under linux Ubuntu 9.10

Tried installing the OVF Tool for 32 bit under Ubuntu 9.10 but got the following error.

./VMware-ovftool-2.0.1-260188-lin.i386.sh

./VMware-ovftool-2.0.1-260188-lin.i386.sh: line 108: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'

./VMware-ovftool-2.0.1-260188-lin.i386.sh: line 108: `<html>'

make sure that the checksum of the downloaded version is the same as on the download page.

3rd times a charm. Checksum was incorrect. Download was sucessful on 3rd attempt.
