flush firmware configuration - bringing down my VMs

Hi there,

Has anyone experienced this before?

I have ESXi 4.1.0 built 260247 and it appears that every now and again I see this event on the recent tasks: flush firmware configuration and Acquire CIM service.

Somehow after a while all the VMs are shutdow by the ESXi itseft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting!

Are you using a branded ESXi from HP/Dell/IBM etc..?

Any CIM-providers installed?

Then it sounds like Dell screwed up.

I would contact their support ASAP!

Could be wise to contact VMware aswell.

I see exactly the same event, but for me is just "Flush firmware configuration" by root. I downloaded the ga ESXi 4.1 and installed on Oracle Servers
