I'm looking for a download link of the newest VMmware Converter 4 Standalone (coldclone.iso).
I'd like to burn it as bootable CD for cold clone process.
Under https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/?p=converter I can find only exe file.
The converter boot CD can be found in the components of vCenter Server 4.0.
You will need to login to download the ISO image.

You need the respective licenses in order to download the bootable iso version.

Strange, I've logged into VMware download center using my license account and see there just exe for windows and tar.gz for linux.
BTW Is it Converter 4.0.1 the newest version?
Just checked the latest version on my HHD.
It is VMware-convertercd-4.1.1-206170.zip
In some KB articles there is already version 4.3 mentioned in the "Related Products". So I guess this will be available soon.
... you should be able to download this version if you select VMware vCenter Server 4 Update 2

Does someone have the exact URL where I can find the converter VMware-convertercd-4.1.1-206170.zip.
I'm register, I have enterprise licenses but I can't find where exactly where it is, it is very annoying.

Should this work with Linux Clients ...
i tried to clone a Laptop , but after booting with CD
i am getting only a bluescreen
i had installed RHES5 without any problems before
any suggestions ,-)
