Must be a self motivator/starter; must be able to answer technical questions relevant to customer deployed technologies; must be able to understand customer technical policies to effectively answer technical questions from the field
Up to 50% travel may be required
Trainers are required to assist with the develop and maintenance of customer based curriculums; trainers will work intimately with Principal Engineering staff
Trainers, on occasion, will be required to train customer installers and systems integration staff in the Grainger Court training facility
Trainers will be responsible for maintaining Vmware, Citrix, Microsoft windows, and other OEM based training environments (configuration, patching, and troubleshooting)
Must be able to effectively communicate with Management and Technical teams.
Must be able to deliver technical training in multiple types of training environments to include: lecture only sessions, white board sessions, hands on labs, & demonstrations
As customer technology experts, all training leads will occasionally be expected to provide tiered support to the customer program
Trainers will be required to understand and be able to setup and configure training environments to include Layer 2 and 3 switching, Windows based servers (2003 & 2008) with applications (Exchange 2003/2010), and user PCs (XP & Windows 7)
Trainers must be able to demonstrate knowledge of VMware virtual technology, IBM Fastback backup and recovery technologies or equivalent, and Citrix/Microsoft Terminal Services technology
Trainer must be able to receive constructive criticism in order to improve classroom effectiveness
Minimum 2 years of Active Directory experience.
1 year of Team lead and/or classroom training experience. (All trainers will be required to pass a training demonstration prior to deployment. Professional demeanor and technical skill will be evaluated by Principal Engineering staff)
Must have a thorough understanding of Active Directory, Domain Controller and Exchange servers, DHCP, DNS.
Switches, routers and other types of peripherals are a plus.
Salary range $60K - $80K with benefits
