Move license to new Mac

Hi,

I've just got a new Mac and would like to transfer my Fusion license to this as my old Mac is quite a bit slower.

Is there a process for doing this? I was told that Fusion has activation so I don't want to uninstall on the old machine, install on the new and find that my license is blocked in any way.

Thanks for any advice,

Jean-Yves

Uninstall Fusion from your old Mac, install Fusion on your new Mac. You're more likely to run into Windows reactivation problems (which shouldn't generally happen) than Fusion activation problems.

Assuming you will also be transferring your virtual machine(s) to the new Mac, Fusion may ask you if you've moved or copied them. Answering that you "copied" them will change the MAC address, upset Windows, and bring you closer to or over the line for forced reactivation. "Moved" leaves the MAC address alone.
