QLE 3142 Network Interface 10 GB/s Slow response on ESX 4 u1

Hi

I loaded ESX on IBM server x3850 M3 X5 and I have one network inerface with 2 ports connected to CISCO 5020 switche configured as a trunk. the troughput is around 30mb/s in fact vmotion is failing with this speed. is any one have an idea why this is happening?
