View Composer and 2008 R2 DCs

I have issues with linked clones not being added to the domain properly (View clients report an issue with the workstation account and can't login).

VMware support is saying it is because one of the domain controllers is 2008 R2 and has advised my client to DCpromo it (leaving one 2003 DC).

Anyone else have this issue?

Odd - we run on a 2008 R2 AD and have had no issues with any of our workstation (VM's) or any of the components integrating into our structure.

What error are you getting exactly - it would give a lot of insight as to where it may be failing.

The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.

I have one DC 2003 and one with 2008 R2 and I've no issue.

But all View Server are 2008 R2.

Have you tried to change the the domain user? Are you using QuickPrep or Sysprep?
