Hi All,
I have the VMware vCenter Converter Standalone running and trying to do a p2v, the first one went ok and no issues. on the second one. the conversion seems to be done with no problem or errors but when I try to boot the guest on the VMware Infrastructure Client I get this error:
Error Loading Operating System.
I read the forums and used the live CD and went in the rescue mode and mounted the / and /boot and tried to do a #grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/sda1 /dev/sda (assuming my /boot is on /dev/sda1)
but since the PATH and the env is not set i get bunch of errors trying to find grub and other commands to make a long story short no amount of debugging has done any good yet either.
Any other suggestion is greatly appreciated.
