Whatever position the original poster was interviewing for... I'm sure was filled three years ago when he posted the question.

You better ask question on basic installations and networking and hardware related questions. You can ask question based on which vmware products you are using.

You can take free online VMware vSphere tests on hrpolytech.com to prepare your interview.

They have 3 levels of difficulty (junior, intermediate and senior based on your level of experience). Questions are pretty up-to-date. You can check you answers right at the end of the test.
