We are looking to run two connections servers through a Cisco ACE LoadBalancer, which provides server load balancing and SSL offload. When we connect to the manager, we are able to login and authenticate, but immediately receive the error - "A connection to the View Server https://server.domain.com:443 could not be established. The SSL initiation failed." We have tried shutting down each Connection Server individually and there is no change. The admin site to manage the connection servers works fine through the LoadBalancer. We have unchecked anything in the Global Settings that says Use SSL for... and have also set the external URL on each server to https://server.domain.com:443, which is the address the LoadBalancer responds to.
We also have the LoadBalancer performing a URL rewrite as described in the document at http://www9.cisco.com/en/US/docs/solutions/Enterprise/Data_Center/vmware/cisco_VMwareView.pdf. Other links we have reviewed but don't seem to provide much more information are:
Mikeddib: Hopefully you are still on these forums. I have a VDI POC that I would like to place behind our Cisco ACE devices for SSL offloading. Can you proivde any assistance with this? Thanks in advance...Scott
