"Autofit Windows" still just there as a placeholder ?

This seems to be a problem for years now and I hoped this was adressed in vSphere but it doesn't look like it.

I am currently perform some benchmarking on a test cluster and every single console has the tickbox select to autofit the Window but as you can see - it doesn't do anything.

I either have to deselect it and reselect or hit "fit window now".

Is there any chance that this will every be adressed ? If it is impossible to fix maybe it should just be removed

Agreed. Works 50% of the time on my VMs - at best. Really annoying, and I have to believe it is fixable...

50% is more than I am getting. If a console isn't logged in then every single one openes like the one in my screenshot ... not fitted at all.

Since vmware doesnt' seem to be able to fix this maybe it is just worth taking the option away and get a keyboard shortcut to actually fit the Window - makes it less annoying ..

Still the same after a year and several updates. Makes me wonder if this will ever be fixed
