Issue after VMDK Expansion

I just expanded a vmdk file of our data drive from a file server through the method vmkfstools, from 150 to 300GB. Process went through without any issues or warning messages. Once I re-attached the vmdk to the file server and brought the server back online I received an error message (attached below) regarding system can't find path specified.

There is no mention of anything in the event logs, and the message only comes up when the first person logs into the console, does not come up if you log in remotely. Tried re-installing vmtools without sucess. Any suggestions? I'm in the process of restoring the server from backup (before the process was run) so any ideas before its finished would be appreciated.

Under Windows Disk Management you see the disk with the new size?

When you have add it again to the VM maybe have you change the SCSI number?

Turns out it was nothing I did, but a problem my boss didn't disclose to anyone else as he thought it was "just his profile" that was getting this error message... Thanks for the thoughts though, it was really throwing me for a loop as the expand process went perfectly.
