Syslog Central Server configuration

I'm trying to setup our ESX 4.0 U1 server to send their syslogs to a central server.

I've made the approprate change to syslog.conf : . @hostname.domain

And it is not working. Is ther a fire wall setting that needs to be turned off on the esx host ?

Also is Firefox supported on your site, beacuse I couldn't get this post to work unless I did it in IE.
