To have a View environment you need at least:
- ESX (one or more physical hosts)
- AD DC (at least 1 server, better 2, could be virtual)
- vCenter Server (could be virtual, see also: )
use Windows 2003 32 bit, cause if you need Composer you have to install on vCenter Server
- View Manager (at least one server, could be virtual)
use Windows 2003 32 bit
- Virtual Desktop (with View Agent installed)
- A client (a laptop or a desktop or a supported thin client) with View Client
Andre
wouldn't it be better to install vCenter on a 64 bit host, since vmware doesn't know if future version will still support 32 bit?
Read View 4 documents:
http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/view_pubs.html
Composer require a 32 bit OS.
