Does someone know if it is possible to monitor the condition of the discs on a serveraid controller ? IBM has a Serveraid Agent which is compatible to ESX 3.5, but will that also work on ESX 4 (update 1) ?
Or is there another possibility to monitor the condition of discs in a IBM xSeries server?
The Hardware Status in the vCenter does not show the Disc information....
Meaning when a disc has a error and needs to be replaced, we can only see that staying in front of the server and that is not very usefull.....
