cannot add a host with a virtual machine that have a fault tolerance turned on as a standalone host

Hello,

I ran into the situation were the Vm have FT enabled was showing a orphened. After trying hard, I ran into the situation where i endup deteleting the FT enabled VM from inventory, Fine it got deteled.

Then I removed the host from the cluster by deleting the cluster. Now after creating the new cluster, its not allowing me to add the host in the cluster. the error display is "cannot add a host with a virtual machine that have a fault tolerance turned on as a standalone host "

Now if i see the host from the Vcenter client it show me the secondary VM which is on readonly mode.

How do i remove it.???

Pls let me know if any one have solution

Regards

Hello,

Connect to Host with SSH, Which one has FT VM then run 'service mgmt-vmware restart' with root privilege rights.

Now you can add the Host to VC.
