Compute resource '<ClusterName>' does not have a host available that is attached to storage required for this virtual machine

I'm working on SRM 4.0 and have completed the setup and configuration, but when I attempt to test the recovery plan, I'm getting the following error message during recovery:

Error: Recovery failed for virtual machine '<VM-NAME>'. Compute resource '<Cluster-Name>' does not have a host available that is attached to storage required for this virtual machine.

I've confirmed that the hosts in the recovery site have full access to the replicated LUN/volume for the VM. Any other suggestions?

need to see the recovery site SRM log to see what is wrong here.

check that in the inventory mapping screen at the protected site you have not inadvertently mapped a cluster object incorrectly...in reality you do not even need to map cluster objects, resource pools are fine. if you had mapped the protected site cluster object to a recovery site cluster that included hosts not mapped to the recovery array that would generate this error.

if you do not want to attach the log to a public forum then have you logged an SR with VMware?

cheers
