not able to conect to virtual center

haI

While trying to conect to virtual center i get the following error

Vmware Infrastructure client could not establish the initial connection with the server

a connection failure occured.

i have restarted the machine,all the services w.r.t. vmware in virtual center.

1.vCenter Server service & DB are running? just want to reconfirm..

2.If W2K8 server, any firewall blocking?

try telnet to vCenter server.

telnet <vCenter_Server_IP> 443

If connectivity is fine , you will see blank screen

1. Which version of VC are you using ?

2. Are you opening it from the same machine where VC server installed or from another machine ?
