P2V for sun solaris running on sparc hardware

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to do P2V for sun solaris running on sparc to x86 virtualization.

I am pretty much aware that vmware doesnt support

virtualization on sparc machines. I know that VMwareconvertor,

Platespin & vizioncore products cant do P2V for sun solaris.

I just got to know that the best way to achieve this is to

create a sun solaris VM on ESX, and then backup data from source sun

solaris sparc and then restore it back on the VM.

Anyone has any thoughts on this. Also has anyone tried the same above.

Also if anyone could help me out with the detailed steps, that would be

great.
