Hi,
I am trying to mask a lun on my SAN from my ESX 4.0 server. Here is the entry on my server:
102 runtime location MASK_PATH adapter=vmhba1 channel=0 target=0 lun=1
102 file location MASK_PATH adapter=vmhba1 channel=0 target=0 lun=1
103 runtime location MASK_PATH adapter=vmhba2 channel=0 target=0 lun=1
103 file location MASK_PATH adapter=vmhba2 channel=0 target=0 lun=1
65535 runtime vendor NMP vendor=* model=*
I have run
esxcli corestorage claiming unclaim -t location -A vmhba1
esxcli corestorage claiming unclaim -t location -A vmhba2
esxcli corestorage claimrule run
But when I look at the storage adapter on the server I can still see LUN 1

Could anyone throw some light on where I may have gone wrong?
