Problem in "Add Standalone Host" to the "vCenter"

Hello

I have a problem in adding one of my esxi host to the vcenter.

I had 2 esxi hosts and both working fine with vCenter.

recently I have reinstalled ESXi 4.0 on both systems and I face this problem.

when I'm Adding one of the host to vcenter, sometimes the progress bar reaches 88% and sometimes 10%.

after stoping, it show an error message box with following info:

A General System error occurred: internal error: vmodl.fault.HostCommunication

I reinstalled the esxi on the system again, but there's no different.

by the way, I have installed my vCenter in VM which runs on this host.

I have check the /tmp folder and the "vmware-root" is exist.

I removed the "vpxuser" but no use.

Any suggestion?

1. Adding Host

2. Adding Eval License

3. Error

Just to be sure... VC was upgraded to version 4.0?

Thanks Andre for reply,

I had installed vCenter 4.0 for those two ESXi 4.0.

I'm not sure about this but can it be because I'm always using the same name format for my hosts (ESXi4-1, ESXi4-2, ...) and before this i had added the host with the same Name to vCenter, it generating an Error?

I fixed this problem by reinstalling vCenter (ans also it's DB) and the problem solved.
