I would like to install ESXi 4 in a virtual machine using VMware Fusion, so that I can do some testing with the busybox etc instead of messing with my production host. I am NOT interested in running VMs in the virtual ESXi I only want to run the hypervisor.
The problem I have is that my MacBook Pro only has 2GB and when I tried creating a VM with 1GB, ESXi would not install. Is there a way around this RAM requirement?
Thanks

Thank you Troy! In the instructions it says that you have to first install with the minimum 2GBs. Is this possible if my system only has 2GB and is running a host OS? Will my OS handle this by increasing the Swap file?
EDIT: I created a VM and tried increasing the RAM to maximum, but it won't allow anything higher than 1840MB, so I guess I'm out of luck.
