create virtual machines with more partions

Hello

I need to create a virtual machines with more partions. C,D.....

I tried this making the next steps :

1.Open the virtual machine

2.Settings->Hardware->Add Hardware-> Create a new virtual disk->IDE->8GB...

Everything looks ok but when power on the virtual machine there is only C partition.

The host machine is an Xp 64.

Go to diskmanagement and scan for new disks!

Thanks. That solved my problem.

I went do disk management, the second disk was there but unknown/unallocated.

I choose Initialize disk, and after this "New partition" and voila...the partition appeared.
