virtual machine on my esx infrastructure not find CD-rom

when i create a new VM ,on bios i don't find a cd-rom for boot my SO.......

i need a help

Edit VM settings: set boot delay to 10 000.

Start VM, press Esc in VM console whilt timer counts down - you'll see boot menu.

right click on the VM- edit settingsOptionsBoot Options -- there is a check box to enter the BIOS setup-- you can change there. other wise change the hardware settings on hardware tab and select appropraiet setting (most likely client device)

sorry but my questions is incorrect

my ESX server can see a CDrom device on his settings configuration , VM not find any CDrom device

open the VM from the VC console (or VI client) and then edit properties and you can add the CD rom there.

i try to add a cd-rom device but the problem persist .....i think the problem is in the hypervisor......i possible ??

i install ESX in a pc.......

someone can help me??please
