@ Developer Day Sessions: Introduction to vSphere Web Services SDK 4.0 and NewFeatures

We are glad to announce the session: on vSphere Web Services SDK 4.0 & New Features.

Session Abstract

vSphere Web Services SDK provide a comprehensive set of APIs and tools to manage the vSphere platform and extend its capabilities. In this session developers will get an introduction to the SDK, details of the primary function of specific APIs and how they work together. Emphasis will be placed on those APIs that are either new to vSphere 4.0 or enable tighter integration with vCenter, HA, DRS and virtual machine automation. This is a must-attend session for developers new to VMware platform. For experienced developers, the session should serve as a refresher course.

Presenter Bio Balaji Parimi, Sr. MTS, Ecosystem Engineering

Balaji has been with VMware for 2 years focused on helping partners create solutions

based on the vSphere platform. Balaji has a Masters degree in Software Engineering

and has been an industry veteran since 1998. When Balaji is not working with partners

on solutions you can find him on the Volley Ball court practicing his serves.

Is it going to be an extended version of the SDK release notes or something more?

The session explains the specifics about using the SDK to manage the new features.

For example, how you can import / export a vApp using the SDK. What are the steps that an SDK client has to do etc..
