Get ESXi 4 do default to black & white rather than gold & gray?

I know you can hit F4 to toggle color versus black & white, but is there a way to get ESXi 4 to default to black & white on startup, or automatically flip to black & white? A setting somewhere, figure can tweak oem.tgz or do a custom.tgz to do it, just not sure where such setting might be buried.

No, I am not talking about the screen 'saving' functionality, but the actual palette change of the color scheme. Given that HP iLO, Dell RAC, etc. can do odd things to the visual image, where colors are not represented correctly, VMware implemented the F4 feature, so that color is disabled, but this is not the default start of the ESXi interface. This is not the screen saver timeout that dimms the console screen, but the actual control of the on screen use or lack of color use. May be you are not familar with the F4 feature?
