"%" sign not displayed correctly in Shared Folder

Folders within shared folders that have a "%" sign are displayed with "%2500". Example:

Z:\Packages\µTorrent 1.8.1\%AppData% appears to the VM as

Z:\Packages\µTorrent 1.8.1\%0025AppData%0025

Most of the time this isn't a problem, but when running scripts or tools such as building ThinApp package, the name incorrect name of the folders really breaks things.

Any ideas? Is this a bug?

PR 254465. By your badge I take it you're a VMware employee, so there are easier ways for you to find out this sort of thing out than by asking on the forums.
