vga.dll failed to load on host

Host is 2003 Server, guest is XP, workstation is 6.5.

Opening workstation and then powering on or resuming guest causes HOST to issue event 26:

"Application popup: : \SystemRoot\System32\vga.dll failed to load"

Any suggestions?

Avi

I don't know if I'm using standard VGA - I don't understand the question.

The host runs an NVIDIA Quadro FX 570. The driver is reported as nv4_disp 6.14.11.7826 - nVIDIA ForceWare 178.26. The monitors are two Samsung SyncMaster 203B monitors.

There WAS an issue with the monitor's driver, as Samnsung does not provide a driver for Windows Server 2003. I hacked it, somehow.

Are you sure that "somehow" was good enough ?
