Invalid Virtual Machine

I have VMWare Servier 1.0.8 installed on Windows 2003 Server. Whenever I try to creat a new Virtual Machine - the process take 20 minutes to create the disk and then it gives me to following error - it does not create the VM

Unable to add virtual machine "D:\Virtual Machines\Windows XP\Windows Xp.vmx" to the inventory

Invalid Virtual Machine

run services.msc and stop/restart the VMware Authorization service.

Hopefully this will work for you? If not what size disks are you creating and what size is your datastore?
