Is this KB article resolved in vSphere?
Although vSphere isn't in the "product versions" list, it does not convince me enough to think that this new product is not affected.
The symptom that this KB article resolved for me:
Windows 2008 64-bit takes ages to start up, but with Mem.ShareScanGHz option set to 0 it boots fine.
If vSphere resolves this issue, then i'm tempted to upgrade as soon as possible and my hosts will have a lot more breathing room when it comes to RAM, otherwise i will keep my hosts on 3.5 until it has been resolved in 4.0 and upgrade later.
