Converter Install Failure - Error Code 1603

Receiving the following error on the server being converted:

The Vstor2 MntApi 1.0 Driver service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

Product: VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Agent -- Error 29142.Could not start service Vstor2 MntApi 1.0 Driver.

Both remote and local installs fail.

Any ideas?

I will work on restarting this server when time allows. I will update the case if these steps fix the issue.

In converting this server, I realized that it used to be a windows 2000 and has since been upgraded. Although files had been uninstalled a while back, there were still items that needed a restart.

Try installing converter 4.0.1.161434.exe should work
