That would be upto the manufactures of the Thin Client device. they are the owners of the Thin Devices Operating system, therefore any update will be driven by them.

Could you go into detail on how to boot from PXE to BartPE?
check out my forum - we have several posts on that - like boot from iscsi just recently.
